Ethics and Privacy
Our commitments to you, stated plainly.
Our Ethics
We do not use urgency, scarcity, or fear to motivate action.
We do not gamify wellness or create artificial achievement systems.
We do not suggest that healing is a matter of willpower or positive thinking.
We do not profit from selling your data or attention.
We acknowledge that many barriers are systemic, not personal.
We recognize that rest is not a reward to be earned.
Data and Privacy
Minimal collection: We collect only what is necessary to provide the service.
No advertising: Your data is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Private by default: Your practice history and preferences are private.
Anonymous access: Everything on Fair Care can be read and used without creating an account. The shelf, the PDFs, the crisis resources and the tools are open, signed out, always.
Accounts, if you want one: An account is optional. It holds your email, a password (stored as a hash we cannot read), an optional first name, and which steps of which Care Packs you have marked done, so a second device opens a pack where the first one left it. That is all it holds. Signed out, your marked steps stay on your own device and never leave it. Making an account does not put you on any letter list unless you tick the box for it, and every letter carries a one-click stop.
Data deletion: If you have an account, the account page has a delete button that removes your email, password, marked steps and any letter enrolment immediately and completely; nothing is kept and it cannot be undone. For anything else, write to contact@infinitumcor.org from the address you used and we will erase you within thirty days, usually sooner. Your email, your check-ins, your journal entries, your intake answers and anything else you wrote: gone. One honest exception: if you ever paid us, the bare accounting record of that payment stays, with your name stripped out of it, because we are required to keep it. You do not have to say why, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
